Hour of Code!
Today, we kicked off the week-long celebration of computer science with the Hour of Code. Each class participated in different activities.
4th and 5th graders listened to Mason Matthews as he talked about his awesome programming job. Then, they had a chance to explore the newest addition to code.org's coding games.
2nd and 3rd graders played with Angry Birds and Kinders and 1st graders coded on the carpet. We had such a fun time! Here are a few pictures of our day. (2nd grade doesn't have any pictures, because...I forgot...they were my last class of the day. Forgive me!)
